La-Z-Boy Foundation Donation to Support Classroom Innovation Across McDonald County Schools
Teachers across McDonald County Schools will have more opportunities to bring creative ideas to life in their classrooms this school year thanks to a generous donation from the La-Z-Boy Foundation.
The McDonald County Schools Foundation recently received a $12,500 contribution from the La-Z-Boy Foundation during a check presentation at the company's headquarters in Neosho. Members of the McDonald County Schools Foundation met with La-Z-Boy leaders to accept the donation, which will help fund the foundation's annual Teacher Grant Program.
Each year, teachers from throughout the district submit grant applications for projects, equipment, technology, and specialized classroom materials that go beyond the school's regular budget. The grants help educators create engaging learning experiences while providing students with resources that might not otherwise be available.
From innovative STEM equipment and hands-on learning materials to flexible classroom tools and unique instructional supplies, the Teacher Grant Program empowers educators to turn great ideas into meaningful opportunities for students.
